What it is

Draw diagrams on a canvas and get LaTeX TikZ code you can paste straight into a document. The v2 rebuild gave it a document model shaped like TikZ itself, so the drawing and the exported code are the same thing, not a translation of each other.

Under the hood

  • A native document model shaped like TikZ, so exporting means writing the model out, not translating a picture.

  • Layers and snapping, plus SVG and TikZ import, for working on diagrams that already exist.

  • Cloud documents, so a drawing follows you between devices.

  • A compile-based check runs the exported code through LaTeX and proves it matches the drawing.
